  • What is CBD?

  • What are the most common reasons people use CBD?

People turn to CBD for a variety of reasons, and its potential therapeutic benefits are diverse. The most common uses include managing anxiety and stress, alleviating chronic pain, improving sleep quality, and addressing inflammation. Additionally, individuals explore CBD for its potential to enhance overall well-being, support joint health, and assist in recovery from physical activities. It's important to note that individual responses may vary, and consulting with a healthcare professional can help determine the most suitable application for specific needs.

  • Will CBD Make Me High?

No, CBD will not make you high. Unlike THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis, CBD is non-intoxicating. . While full-spectrum CBD products may contain trace amounts of THC, small amounts usually do not cause intoxication. However it is important to note that some full spectrum products may contain higher amounts of THC that do produce mild side effects. These effects can include fatigue and changes in appetite, but they are typically rare and temporary. If you have concerns or are taking medications, we recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before incorporating CBD into your routine.

  • How does CBD work in the body?

CBD interacts with the vast biological regulating system known as the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) that stretches throughout the body in the brain, organs, muscles, tissues, skeletal system and immune system. The ECS regulates fundamental bodily processes and functions such as mood, sleep, appetite, pain response, memory, cognitive function, reproduction and more.

The overarching goal of the ECS is to maintain homeostasis (balance/equilibrium) in the body’s biological functions through signaling when the body is undergoing environmental or internal disturbance or attack. CBD interacts both directly and indirectly with the ECS and other systems to support these fundamental processes, although the exact mechanism of how CBD interacts has not yet been conclusively established.

However, extensive research has shown the therapeutic value of CBD for pain response, stress release and balancing mood, along with support for other vital bodily functions.

  • What are the potential benefits of CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is recognized for its diverse potential benefits. Users have reported stress and anxiety relief, improved sleep, and pain management. Additionally, CBD may have neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties, contributing to overall well-being. It's important to note that individual responses vary, and consulting with a healthcare professional is advisable for personalized guidance on incorporating CBD into your wellness routine.

  • How do I take CBD?

CBD is available in various forms, including oils, capsules, edibles, and topicals. The best method depends on personal preferences and the desired effect. For faster absorption, sublingual (under the tongue) application of CBD oil is common, while edibles provide a more extended release.

  • Is CBD Legal?

Yes, CBD derived from hemp plants containing less than 0.3% THC is legal at the federal level in the United States. However, specific regulations can vary by state and country, so it's essential to be aware of local laws regarding CBD products.

  • What is the difference between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD?

The main distinction between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD lies in their cannabinoid content, particularly concerning THC. Full-spectrum CBD contains a wide array of cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC (up to 0.3%). This allows for the entourage effect, where cannabinoids work synergistically for potential enhanced benefits. On the other hand, broad-spectrum CBD undergoes additional processing to remove or eliminate THC entirely while retaining various cannabinoids. This makes broad-spectrum CBD a suitable option for those sensitive to THC or subject to regular drug testing. Both formulations offer unique advantages, and choosing between them depends on individual preferences, legal considerations, and sensitivity to THC. Always review product labels and third-party lab reports to understand the cannabinoid profile of the CBD product you select.
