What Is Full Spectrum CBD and Why Does It Matter?
If you are new to CBD and curious about the difference between CBD isolate and full spectrum CBD, then you have come to the right place!
CBD is rapidly becoming one of the most popular natural products in the world. It seems that everywhere you look, someone is talking about how great CBD is and what it can do for you.
When you first get started with any cannabidiol (CBD) products, it’s easy to feel a little overwhelmed about some of the terms, such as full spectrum CBD or high strength CBD. To make your journey into CBD a little easier, we’re going to break down what full spectrum CBD is, what high strength CBD is, and why they are both so important.
At Let It Grow Hemp, we believe that everyone should have access to high-strength, full spectrum CBD products at a fair price. It’s why we got started in the hemp industry and why we strive to have affordable CBD products that are high-quality and fair price. You can see our full range of high-strength, full spectrum CBD products here.
What Is High Strength CBD?
With so many different CBD companies and products entering the market, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Unfortunately, many of the CBD products on the market contain only a small percentage of cannabidiol (CBD). Here at Let It Grow Hemp, we believe in producing high-quality CBD products that are high strength.
Our CBD products are some of the highest quality and most potent CBD products on the market, containing as much as 4500mg of premium CBD. We want our customers to be able to get the high-strength CBD products they desire without having to buy multiple products, and it’s why we strive to produce high-strength CBD products.
What Is the Endocannabinoid System?
Inside all of us is something that’s known as the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Scientists believe that the ECS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance and harmony) throughout many of our internal systems. The ECS regulates bodily functions such as sleep, mood, appetite, memory, fertility, and reproduction.
The ECS comprises a series of receptors (CB1 and CB2) that are linked together and spread throughout the body. It’s the way the ECS is set up that makes CBD so versatile and why CBD works with so many different delivery methods.
Our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids, anandamide (AEA), and 2-arachidonoylglyerol (2-AG), but when our body isn’t producing enough of these cannabinoids, such as CBD, can step in and help. It’s believed that CBD helps to slow down the rate at which our body breaks down these beneficial endocannabinoids so that we have more available.
What Is Full Spectrum CBD?
When it comes to CBD products, you have three real options, CBD isolate, full spectrum CBD, and broad spectrum CBD. Many of the vaporizers and edibles available online contain CBD isolate, which is sprayed onto the product. As the name suggests, CBD isolate is pure CBD with all other cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils stripped away during the manufacturing process.
At Let It Grow Hemp, we utilize either full spectrum CBD or broad spectrum in most of our products. Full spectrum products contain all the natural compounds found in the hemp plant, including beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils. Broad spectrum is the same as full spectrum, except they have had the cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) removed during the manufacturing process.
It’s believed that by combining all of these elements, you can boost the effectiveness of cannabidiol (CBD). This effect is known as the Entourage Effect. Studies into the Entourage Effect are only in their early stages, but study results look promising so far.
What Is Full Spectrum CBD and Why Does It Matter?
Hopefully, now you have a much better idea about what full spectrum CBD is and why it’s so important. We still have a lot to learn about cannabinoids such as CBD and the Endocannabinoid System, but studies so far look promising. However, more clinical trials are required before we can make any medical claims about the benefits of CBD.
If you have any questions about any of the high-strength, full spectrum CBD products we sell, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. At Let It Grow Hemp, we believe in high-strength CBD products available at a fair price, and we will continue striving to produce fair price CBD products that are the best available.
